ATP Fantasy rules: how the game scores
A reference for ATP Fantasy rules verified against official sources: squad, credits, scoring, switches, Bonus Ball and chips.
Squad and budget
- Your squad contains 8 ATP singles players: 6 starters and 2 ordered alternates.
- The starting budget is 100 credits; unused credits are retained.
- Prices begin between 1 and 40 credits and may move with results.
- Starters score points; alternates cover unavailable starters.
- One starter receives the Bonus Ball and doubles their score.
Points for the round reached
Each player receives the value of the furthest round reached. It is not cumulative and varies by category: ATP 250, ATP 500, Masters 1000 or Major.
- ATP 250: from 0 points in R32 to 250 for the champion.
- ATP 500: from 0 points in R32 to 500 for the champion.
- Masters 1000: from 10 points in R128 to 1,000 for the champion.
- Major: from 10 points in R128 to 2,000 for the champion.

- Straight-set win: +10 points.
- Upset win: +20 points.
- Double fault: -2 points each.
- 6-0 set lost: -10 points.
- Upset loss: -20 points.
Switches
- Before the first matchday, transfers are unlimited.
- From matchday two, you receive 2 free switches each week.
- Unused switches roll over to a maximum of 8.
- Every additional switch costs 50 points.
- At the start of a swing the balance resets; operator rules award 8 switches.
Bonus Ball and chips
- Assign the Bonus Ball to a starter to double their score.
- Alternates makes both alternates score.
- Triple Bounce triples, rather than doubles, the selected player's score.
- Only one chip can be activated per matchday, before the deadline.
- Each chip type can be used once per swing and does not carry into the next one.
Cases not yet resolved
Verified sources do not fully define some edge cases: the rank-16 price overlap, the exact definition of an upset, multiple 6-0 sets lost and the Swing Switch limit. SetDraft does not present unclear rules as facts.
